It covers the analysis of the K-12 Physical Education and Health Education Curriculum and explores the different curriculum models in PE and Health. Assessment in the K-12 PE and Health is expected at the end of the course.

The course deals with the concepts of population, resources, and the environment, and their effects on population health. The course examines the relationship between population, resources, and the environment as it applies to the development of health literacy in the K-12 Health Curriculum. The course will require a paper presentation on the current issues and concerns in environmental health and its effect to health of the population.
